About Woodspring Association for Blind People
Woodspring Association for Blind People (WABP) is a registered charity (number 270331), established in 1975, with a current membership of 1200 people throughout North Somerset
In accordance with our constitution WABP has an Executive Committee of twelve people, the majority of whom are visually impaired.
There are three full time and six part time members of staff.
WABP have a Service Level Agreement with North Somerset Council to provide services for visually impaired people. These include:

Funding
The funds we receive under the terms of the Service Level Agreement are restricted to expenditure under strict budget headings relating to the agreement.
Funds for voluntary sector activities, including core costs for salaries, rent and rates etc. are raised via the following methods:
WABP accounts are kept in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice as required by the Charity Commission.
